Guest guest Posted March 14, 2012 Report Share Posted March 14, 2012 > Today will be spent doing yard work. hi indy! yardwork max is a good workout! i just got back from a walk and am heading out to the yard to do that workout now. all of my tulips and daffodils are sprouting already, only one month early. there was frost this morning, i hope that i worse frost is not still in store. anyway lots of branches and stuff to pick up. :*carolyn. I love the functional fitness stuff, great workout! Working workout Today will be spent doing yard work. I did a half hour of leaf raking with my HRM on, and got my heart rate going well within the target area -- sometimes higher. Noticed that raking with a lunging action is easier than just using upper body strength. I'm "fooling around" with it a bit, thinking of exercise movements and maintaining good form as I do it. Picking up fallen branches are squats. Do some bicep curls with the branch as I head over to the pile. etc...I'm taking a hydration break right now.
