I love this workout by Petra, thank you for reminding me about this one!

so i did 70 min petra kolber 'cardio for beginners'. i had to

modify up this workout as it really is for beginners. petra is a

very consistent instructor. also friendly, encouraging, not

condescending. cueing is well done, pace is brisk, backgrounders

very good. music just provides a beat... it could have been

better. different length workouts (10 to 20 mins) and a choice

between athletic and dancey styles. basic steps and choreo.

stretch at the end. i do think that beginners would like this

one.

Wow, you worked hard today!!

That's very cool that the store can depend on you to just wing things like what you have to do Sunday, it is a definite compliment to you and your abilities there! :-)

PY day 26 floor cardio

rocket science or brain surgery that we are doing there.... lol.

very basic dance steps that even i could do, put into combos that

petra builds and then repeats... then she will build another

combo, repeat that... then put the two together and take it from

the top a bunch of times. there are arms but they are not hard

to add in... most of the time i do my own arms anyway. a few

times petra says that if you can walk then you can do these dance

steps.

petra has a really likeable style about her,

Perhaps not rocket science but there are lots of (a) really dumb people out there and especially (B) a lot of people who are not willing to take responsibility and provide leadership. Unfortunately, I keep hearing about people who don't know how to take initiative and just wait to be told what to do, then complain about what they're told to do so businesses really value people like you, don't sell yourself short!! :-)

I like Petra too but I tried to follow a WW workout DVD she did that was aimed at beginners and I was still totally lost. It was probably more me than her. I was okay with her Walk with workouts (with Foreman) though!

wow thankyou nancy, you have given me a real boost today!

im never afraid of taking on a new challenge but i agree that

some people feel intimidated or scared.

we will see how it goes tomorrow. if i catch any flak then i

will stand up for myself and let them know i did the best i

could. and, then, they will have trouble convincing me to fill

in there again....lol. it shouldnt be too bad though.... 50%

of the job is just showing up on time.

those are nice workouts. george foreman is so cute in them and

petra's personality really shows as well. i wish those workouts

had had more success/popularity. i should pull one out to use

as a step-getter some evening. i think that i still have one

left in my inventory... walk & box.

i have this one catlin but havent done it yet. i had to make a

decision between this one and the cardio for beginners. i think

that the title threw me, i wasnt sure what to expect from it so i

I had a few of these but got rid of them. One of them, can't remember which, was fun but I was trying to thin out my workouts and it just wasn't "enough" for me or something like that. I did think was cute too and Petra was very friendly. I think I just enjoyed my s better and decided to hold on to some of those instead (or maybe someone offered me something I really wanted for a trade, that might have been part of it too).

;-) I'm a sucker for accents and I love hers. It's not just you though ,

some of her videos are hard to follow in spots ;-)

yes i would like that donna! hmmm, the next 3 weeks are booked

with gilad, so it could be during the jackie week april 9-15.

i will add petra's bootcamp boogie to my list and will remind you
