Hi all,I had such a great walk yesterday. I got my 100 floor badge yesterday. After a week of rainy, chilly bike commutes, I was so ready to feel some sunshine. It was in the 50's and 60's yesterday, the sky was brilliant blue, and the air smelled clean after all that rain. SF looked like a jewel to me. These long walks really help me clear my head.

Here's how I got to 107 floors yesterday:I walked to BART, about a mileMy local BART station is on a raised platform, and the SF downtown BART stations are underground, so lots of stairs there.I got out at the Embarcadero station, and walked through the Embarcadero Buildings because I needed a quick pitstop- the stairs are pretty there.

I then walked up Sacramento Street all the way to Divisadero. That stretch of Sacramento St. has two major hills. Turned South on Divisadero. I stopped to pick up my new glasses at Kaiser, and then headed south on Divisadero.

I stopped for lunch at Herbivore Restaurant for lunch. Delicious vegan food. Disinterested waitresses! Tiny tip, LOL!I kept going south on Divisadero, then turned West on Haight for the next big hill.

I hiked to the top of Buena Vista Park. So pretty. So steep. That's where I went past 100 floors. The view is phenomenal from the peak: Golden Gate Bridge, Marin Headlands, sweeping vistas of SF neighborhoods.

I then walked back down the hill, back downtown, hopped on Muni at the Church St. Station, transferred to BART, and then walked home.Fun, fun, fun.
