You're smart to use the step instead, especially since you're using heavy dumbbells. I'd hate to have the ball slip away or burst while using 20lb dumbbells.

Good morning!

 

     Today was Push Pull (upper body 2x) premix.  It had been a while since doing this one.

 

I started out with yoga and did QF Power Yoga (workout #1)  I skipped the warm up in PP.

 

I didn't use the ball for any of it.  I subbed using my step. I like it better that way.

 

Bench press on ball - 20 DBDeadrows   45 BB

ABOVE REPEATS

 

flys on ball 20

Y's on ball ( I did seated rear delts using 7)

ABOVE REPEATS

Inverted shoulder press on high step  (I did seated overhead press) 15 One arm row 25

ABOVE REPEATS

Front raise on ball  (1) 15 seated on stepRear delt raise on ball  10 (seated on step)

ABOVE REPEATS

Bicep curls with ball  12Slow Dips/immediately to kickbacks  ( I did seated over head extensions with a 4 count down and 4 count up using a 20)  The kicksback I used 8

ABOVE REPEATS

 

I skipped the low back and abs.   Surprisingly my abs are a little bit sore from KPC yesterday.

Oh god, you and me both.  After the race on Sunday my next Noel session is <gulp> Legs.  I'm already dreading it.  The pain...But it must be done!  I don't want to be like Tony Horton, all upper body and no wheels!

Good morning!

 

     This morning was Pyramid Lower Body.  I've always liked this one, but lately, I've just hated working legs for some reason. 

 

I always use DB's for the leg presses and lunges.  Works a lot better for me.  And gee, the floor work felt harder then the standing.  I was moaning and groaning on those froggy pull ins.  OUCH!!

 

 Leg Press-12/15/20 DB

 Lunges-static-12/15/20  DB

 Squats-supersets with regular then plie squats- 30/35/40 BB Deadlifts- Skipped Calf raises floorwork

 

I wore my HRM since I had down that I wore it last time.  I burned 292 calories, 131 avg, 165 max, 1,269 steps.

Good morning!

This morning was Step Blast (combo 1, 3 & challenge) premix. WOW did this one smoke me. I got up with some sore hips (guessing from Afterburn) and was pretty low on energy to start. I got into it after a few minutes, but the challenge is what got me good. I was praying she wasn't going to do it a third time through, but wouldn't you know, she sure did. I made it, but barely.

I burned 380 calories, avg 148, max 180, steps 5,121
