Jen's exercise for Monday 02/27/12 Project YOU Rotation - Day 6Today I

did A LOT!  I decided to get back on track with walking.  I'm going to try and walk twice a day as many days as I can.Here is what I did:1998 Self Challenge Walk - Steady walk = 31 minutesCalories 112, Steps 3,719 Miles 1.41

Project YOU - Pilates

Core = 20 minutesI HATE this workout!  My abs are so weak from having a hysterectomy 5 years ago that I couldn't do most of those exercises...but I did TRY!Slim in 6 weeks FIRM UP FAST walk (Intervals) = 36

minutesCalories 152 Steps 4,415 Miles 1.67Co-ed Competitive Volleyball = 2 hoursI wore my Fitbit and it stayed on!  Here is what it said:I burned 586 calories, I took 3,609 steps and I walked a total of 1.37 miles all while playing volleyball!

Project YOU - Yoga Flex = 20 minutesThis was much easier than the Pilates workout but I still had some trouble with it.  My arms and legs were all ready tired from walking (there are toning exercises with the FIRM UP FAST walk) and playing volleyball but I did do much better with this one.  I enjoyed it by the end.

Fitbit totals for the day: Calories 2,851, Steps 13,081 Distance 4.96 milesYAH Me!   I might do the yoga and pilates on separate days...we'll see.  I think it I didn't have volleyball last night it would have been easier to do both and walk twice.  Sorry I'm getting behind in the PY Rotation Carolyn

That is an EXCELLENT attitude, Jen!  And you're right.  Be consistent, results will follow.  Weight can fluctuate with water retention, time of the month, whether you've taken a dump or not, etc...  I pretty much just weigh myself once a month for that reason.

I doubt it with my abs. My Dr. cut straight down my stomach so all those muscles are cut. My abs were weak before but now they're terrible!
