Guest guest
I think some of you were talking about linking MFP with fitbit? Well, sparkpeople has been down since yesterday so as you can imagine when I'm so use to recording my food I felt quite lost without it. I googled calorie web sites and this one came up. I really like it, maybe more than sparkpeople, I can't believe I'm saying that. Anyway can anyone tell me how you link it with fitbit or was that a different place? `* ¸*´¸.•´ ¸.•*¨)¸.•*¨)(¸.•´(¸.• (¸.•´¸¸.•¨¯`•.¸¸. Guest guest
Hi , It's working really well for me, but I had already been using MFP. I read some of the other posts about some frustrations. Here's how I sync: I can't download software or add things to my work computer, so I only sync my fitbit twice a day at home, morning and evening. Some days I only sync it once. I log my food immediately most of the time because I can log food easily on my iPhone, which I have with me all the time. This means that I can see my calorie consumed total on my iPhone, and I can get a pretty good idea of my calorie burn from my fitbit and my HRM. I can do the math in my head. It's working out pretty well for me. I think some of you were talking about linking MFP with fitbit? Guest guest
It's working out pretty well for me. Thanks for your input, . I haven't tried to link them, I've just been using MFP web site. I never thought I'd find another food logging web site other than Sparkpeople that I'd like better. Its so much easier to use and I'm amazed at how much food they have in the database. I put something in yesterday thinking there was no way they would already have it and they did. `* ¸*´¸.•´ ¸.•*¨)¸.•*¨)(¸.•´(¸.• (¸.•´¸¸.•¨¯`•.¸¸. Guest guest
You're welcome. I love MFP. There's another cool thing. If you take a picture of the barcode on a package, most of the time it'll pull up the correct item so you can log it easily. I don't eat a lot of packaged foods, but still, that is WAY cool! Even if you don't link them, I'm sure you'll find a way to make them work together. If you link them, it'll give you a great way to view calories in/out over time, even if it sometimes doesn't alway update immediately. I don't need that comparison all day long, but I like to see how I did the next morning. It's working out pretty well for me. Thanks for your input, .
