Guest guest
re-post --- s90: day 2: ultimate ball Date: Sun, 03 Apr 2011 12:37:52 -0400 From: Festival City Concrete Ltd / & Carolyn Visser i like this workout alot, but i do like most stability ball workouts, so i wasnt surprised that i enjoyed it. i like that all of the exercises are for the core of the body and there are no standard crunches. also no dumbells are involved. stability ball workouts are usually quite functional which also appeals to me. i enjoy trying to balance, i guess. each exercise is done for 30 seconds, followed by 30 seconds of recovery, and performed for two sets. most of the time i was quite happy for the 30 second rests. there are some advanced exercises, like pike, and a one legged lunge (with rear leg up on ball), plank with hands on ball (easier to picture than to actually do) and a 'skier' move that took me a while to get the hang of (roll out w/ feet on ball, pull into a tuck, then move hips side to side for oblique crunch... i think!... need to watch that one again). the warmup and cooldown was the standard ones provided on the menu.
