Guest guest Posted March 16, 2012 Report Share Posted March 16, 2012 Hi all,This last bug really wanted to stick around. I'm starting to feel much better, and I think I know what made me sick. I just tweaked the nutrient recommendations from fitbit and myfitnesspal. The calories are too low for me. I know this from many years of logging my food. If I go that low on calories, sure, I'll lose weight, but I'll start catching colds. So, I've happily tweaked my goals. I lost 5 pounds last month, but from experience, I know 2 lbs/month is safer for me, and also psychologically sustainable. I'm in no hurry. Last week, all I did was my walk commutes. It poured buckets all week, so I'm so glad that I have an amazing rain coat that keeps me warm and absolutely dry. I have great shoes, too. I love rainy day walks. I've got a 3 day weekend. I totally rested yesterday, the first day. I still had a sore throat. I'm resting again today. If the sore throat doesn't return at the end of the day, I'll start adding workouts tomorrow.
