Guest guest
Good job getting it done! Can one ever have too much core work? I think not! I thought about doing pilates, it might have been a better choice for my feet, but I just couldn't deal with it today (sorry, Donna & other pilates fans) so I went with a virigin core workout that I knew wouldn't be too taxing either, PowerFit Harmony 6 Core - Pure Power (what a ridiculously long name). It was a very light 20 minute workout that combined some standing core with floor work (probably about half & half) and none of it really was threatening for my feet so that was good. I modified here and there in very small ways to make sure I was safe and that was fine. It was very pleasant. It wasn't challenging so beginners could enjoy this one and though most of it was pretty traditional stuff, (Huckabee) put a spin on it by mixing things up a bit so it was interesting but not difficult to figure out what she wanted you to do. She said " You're looking great! " too many times but other than that, I thought it was good. Off to do a tiny bit of work, then scrapbook (finally, I hate getting up late on days when I have too many things I have to do and other things I really want to do)! Guest guest
Thank you and I totally agree!! I can tell, even from this very light workout, that I haven't worked my core in a while! I've got my timer set to check email every 15 minutes as I am trying to trouble shoot two problems from work. I didn't get any from them in this 15 minute segment but saw your reply so I replied back. Now I'm going back to my scrapbooking (one page done already)! Guest guest
>PowerFit Harmony 6 Core - > Pure Power (what a ridiculously long name). hi nancy - i was laughing about the long name of a workout i did the other day... 'the firm total body transFirmation cardio overdrive express'...LOL i get the powerfit title though... it is from the 'harmony' set and it is disc/workout number 6 or maybe day 6, is classified as a core workout and finally, its name is 'pure power'.... ROFL i have this workout but havent done it yet. i agree that stephanie gets annoying by saying the same phrases repeatedly. she also says 'listen up' alot which drives me bonkers because it sounds rude to me. good going on doing a workout. i can tell that you are trying not to get your hopes up too high. keep hanging in there, :*carolyn. Guest guest
Yeah, the name at least makes sense but..! I forgot to mention she did not say "listen up" as much as she usually does and that was another positive! The first time I did a workout of hers and heard her repeat that over & over I wasn't sure if I should be offended or not! I decided to overlook it and like her despite that and her other pet phrases. Thanks for the encouragement! It has, overall been a good day, I've had some twinges, so I know my problems aren't over yet, but there's improvement so at little hope is a good thing!
