Guest guest
My feet are still doing pretty good (2 days after the latest orthotic change & anti-inflammatory injection) but I'm still getting plenty of "pings" of pain that concern me so while I am comfortable doing some exercise, I don't want to put too much weight/pressure on my feet yet and probably won't for a while. I'm looking to see if anyone knows of any other good, seated upper body work besides Tamilee Webb's I Want Those Arms workout 2. I have that but I need more variety. I'm looking for premixes of other workouts or mish-moshes you think might work too. I probably don't want to purchase anything new. I'm comfortable with push-ups on my knees too so I think I'll start doing more of those and I've got my ab roller for core/upper body too (and I KNOW that is on my knees, no choice foot pain or not!). I'm focusing on what I CAN do instead of being frustrated by what I can't. It ain't easy. I see my FIRMS and my Cathes and others and am filled with longing for their intensity, excitement and the sense of achievement I get from doing them. I'm trying to temporarily (I hope) lower my expectations of myself and continue to feel a sense of achievement from ANY exercise, like I did this week! :-) I'm thinking I will add a category to my workout spreadsheet so that I can at least filter on "foot-friendly" so that I see only those when I'm using it to choose workouts, that will help my attitude. That's tomorrow though, it is almost midnight and I need sleep. If you have any good workout ideas, upper body or otherwise (yes, I'll probably start doing some pilates soon too), send them my way, I've got too many workouts to choose from so chances are I'll have some of your suggestions! :-) Thanks!
