Guest guest
Had a nice back workout tonite! Three sets of 10:(warmup exercise)lat pulldown (in shape)(40) 50,50, 60 " gravitron " assisted pullup machine - military pullup grip:level 6, 5, 4 (this one is hard to quantify, you enter your weight then a number, which on a graph shows you what % of bodyweight you are lifting. In other words, to a lazy math person like me, these stats are pretty meaningless and more of a PRE for me. I'll probably use the more manual assisted pullup machine next week instead, but this one *was* really fun!) seated rows (hammerstrength)55, 55, 60 per armiso lateral high row (hammerstrength)55, 50, 50 per armsingle arm dumbell rows25, 25, 20front pull down (hammerstrength) 50, 50 45 per armI soaked and chatted in the hot tub for a bit then showered and now I'm pleasantly tired. Gotta hit the sack as I have early morning Group Kick class tomorrow!

Guest guest
> now I'm pleasantly tired. Gotta hit the sack as I have early > morning Group Kick class tomorrow! go laura go !! sounds like you are having a good time! im glad to hear that you chatted up some people in the hot tub.... enjoy the people in group kick tomorrow. it is a good way to feel a bit socialized, right? according to the article that angelica posted the other day concerning fitness stats, over 50% of people who workout do it alone.... i always workout alone (except for when the dog accompanies me on walks) and i know that it tends to feel a bit lonesome.... i think that is one reason why i like videos as i feel like im exercising in a group. dh wants to buy a new bike today and im thinking of getting a new one too. he thinks that we will bike together as a family, but i know that he will not ride with us in a group but will take off at his own fast speed. oh well, it is the thought that counts. maybe i will be able to have the company of our youngest son on some rides this summer. and chinook of course, if i can get him to not run so fast and pull my bike down the road (which sounds fun but is actually kind of scary). :*carolyn.
