Monday Workout

Good morning!

This morning I had down to do AfterBurn "Random Burn" premix. I've never done this one before.

I'm just not in love with this workout, for some reason. I know a lot of you guys really like it, but I can't seem to like it a lot no matter how much I modify. I don't like that she repeats each one twice. I think once is enough for as hard as the workout is. Maybe some time I'll do it just once through and see how I like it that way.

I don't like all the burpees and spidermans so any and all of those "going down to the floor" stuff I subbed. Here's where all I modified.

Mountain Climbers- I did high impact high knees

Burbees- I did 7 jacks and one jump with arms overhead

Plank Kick Through- I did high impact kicks and when she sped up the kicks I sped up mine too.

Spiderman Climbers- high knees, I sped these up also when she did with the climbers (this one felt Breathless body)

Jumping Jacks with disk- I did regular jacks on floor

Walking pushups- I did the full pushups, but stayed stationary when they walked.

I feel like I worked just as hard and my calorie burn was even higher without me having to do all those exercises that I don't enjoy and even makes me light headed. I'm glad this one is done!

I burned 489 calories, avg 148, max 176, steps 4,320

I'm with you at least on the walking pushups.  It defeats the purpose (builidng the pecs) so in class when we had those a few weeks ago in Kick I just did regular pushups the whole time.Good calorie burn there!
