Guest guest Posted March 19, 2012 Report Share Posted March 19, 2012 One of my fitness goals has been to be able to work in our yard when big jobs needed doing -- and it seems spring is a time for that! Today I spent most of my time moving and stacking firewood. We had a mature tree fall recently, and DH cut it up and split it, so I went about moving it and stacking it. I kept at it for about 3 hours, with a break or two in between. I could have gone longer if other chores hadn't been calling me. In my former life, I would have been very sore, and perhaps injured by now! I doubt if I'll even have any DOMS tomorrow. And if the weather holds, I'll be doing that sort of stuff all week.
