Good news:  , my friend from high school that I haven't seen in around 25 years, she and I might be doing the Vancouver, Washington Half Marathon on June 17th!  She's nursing an achilles injury so she'll let me know soon if it's a go or not.  Yay!  If I can do this one it will be totally different from the others, and parts of it are in the country, it looks like, but mostly I just adore and would love to hang out with her!  Also, it forces me to continue my longer weekend runs :)
