Guest guest
I didn't know about the different types. I'll have to check out the different types. Thanks for the tip. a On Mar 15, 2006, at 6:42 PM, eemalawyer wrote: > IMHO, the ones on sale today on Overstock are not very good. > They're 3 lb. foam, the real ones from Tempurpedic are 5.3 lb. Guest guest
, I'm pretty sure mine is a 2 " and I have it on top of a very deep mattress. I don't have any trouble with the deep pocket sheets fitting it, but I think if I tried a 4 " the sheets wouldn't fit. I also think there is a difference in the deep pocket sheets by different manufacturers. Some cut corners and don't make them as deep as others. I've seen straps that you can put on the sheets to keep them from popping off. Bed Bath and Beyond carries them. Maybe something like these would help keep your sheets on. Nothing worse than waking up with sheets scrunched underneath you. http://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/product.asp?order_num=-1 & sku=10220599 a On Mar 15, 2006, at 5:15 PM, Randall wrote: > I was wondering about that too. > > We have a travel trailer with a queen bed, and like most travel > trailers, the mattress that came with it is AWFUL (even befoer I had > RA!!!<g>) We bought two of the 2 " toppers from Costco, and it made > the bed really nice and comfy. Guest guest
JC Penny's carry extra deep pocket sheets that fit mattresses up to 20 " . If you do a google search on deep pocket sheets, I'm sure you'll find other places as well. I have Fieldcrest sheets and even with an extra thick mattress and the memory foam, the sheets fit fine and don't come off. a On Mar 16, 2006, at 7:33 AM, Randall wrote: > I'd love to know before I bought them which sheets are likely to > REALLY be deep enough!<g> As far as the straps are concerned, been > there, tried that.
