Guest guest
Hi...As we all do, I struggle with fatigue often. When I take my weekly Humira and Mtx injections, I usually have more fatigue. But this past Friday, within an hour or so after my injections, I felt so sickeningly tired, and fell asleep in the middle of the day. Every day since then, I have felt that same weird exhaustion. I thought maybe it was because this was just the third week since being off for those months because of my surgery. But when I have had to go off the meds for awhile before, and even when I first began them, I had nothing like this present siege of such awful tiredness. On the plus side, my RA symptoms are getting better, for which I am very grateful. But, I am wondering if something else might be wrong as this type and degree of tiredness is not typical. I see my Pcp this week, and think I will ask her to run some bloodwork. Gentle hugs... Tess
Guest guest
Tess, Fatigue is my main complaint too. I hope this fatigue of yours passes. When you first began mtx was your dose slowly increased? Going back on a high dose could account for it. Since I've added mtx to my mix, I've found it to increase my fatigue. Hopefully as your body adjusts to being back on your meds, the fatigue will subside. At least they are calming down your RA. That is a wonderful things. a On Mar 20, 2006, at 1:50 AM, Grammi B wrote: > Hi...As we all do, I struggle with fatigue often. Guest guest
Tess, Glad to hear you meds are kicking in. I debated and decided not to take my meds...even though my rheummy was NO help. I will wait until this weekend and hopefully I will be feeling better. How is the seroma doing? I hope getting smaller and better. Toni > > Hi...As we all do, I struggle with fatigue often.
