Guest guest
Tracie, that sounds like a very good way to go rather than suffering greatly beforehand. It was easier for you even though there was the shock of the unexpected. I think that's the way I want to go. Bless you and yours, with plenty of slow, gentle hugs. Sunday morning about 4:30, we got a call that our 21 year old niece died. She had been brain damaged before birth in a car wreck that broke a blood vein in her brain and it was killed except for the stem, so she only had simple motor functions all her life. That was a hard life for her parents and her. She wasn't supposed to live more than about 5 years, but she was tough. Blind, hard of hearing, had to be fed through a tube and wore diapers, wasn't a way I'd like to live. There's always someone else worse off than you or your father. At least I hope that's the case. Our prayers are with you. Dennis [ ] Re: Tracie~- My dad died today > Tess, > > Thanks for the kind words and that hug. I really needed it. His > death hit me harder than I expected.
