Car Accident

Hi Friends...On Wednesday I was driving my friend Kristi home after a nice

afternoon of a visit and a slice of pie, and as I drove through a neighborhood,

a little girl (18 or 19) did not look and was parked by a curb, pulling out

directly into the passenger side of my car, sliding all along the right side,

and then, I don't know how, but hit us again in the right rear bumper. Maybe

she accidently hit the gas pedal instead of the brake. I had to go to the ER,

but no serious injuries, The muscles from my scalp all along the right side of

my body to the waist were wrenched...I have pretty bad headaches behind my right

eye to my ear, and some " fuzzy " feeling through my ear and dizziness, along with

the aches and stiffness. The doctor thinks these will resolve within a few

weeks, but could precipitate a RA and fibromyalgia flare. I hope not. My

friend has some back problems from the accident, and problem with her neck and

shoulders. I am very grateful the injuries were not worse.

My little car is a mess. This is distressing as on a small, fixed income I

depend on my car to get me around. I am not sure what the insurance will

do...the other driver does have insurance, thank the Lord. So, I got an

estimate, filed the DMV form, and am waiting for adjusters to call.

I know on the scale of some of the serious things happening to folks here this

is pretty minor, but has thrown a monkey wrench in my life which I sure didn't

need. Prayers for the whole situation would be so appreciated.

Much love...

Tess
