Guest guest
Ken: What you lived through, no child should ever have to experience, and my heart breaks for " little " Ken who is still inside of you. You survived, Ken, so you are not to think of yourself as a victim, but a survivor, and it has made you the man you are today. A loving, kind, and strong man, came out of what you went through. You should be proud of yourself becoming a good man in such circumstances. Many others might have given up in so many different ways, or followed the alcoholic footsteps of your mother and step-father. I am very proud of you for being the man you are today, and this group is made better by your having joined us, and share in your kindness. That you were able to forgive your step-father, shows that kind of strength I am talking about. I am so glad that you have Tammy to support you through all of this, and no doubt she has been your support through much, more more than we could ever know. I am sorry, Ken, that your family never was a family, and the remaining siblings continue to hate. In this type of dysfunctional family, all are damaged, but you have made it out alive. It is their loss for never knowing you, my friend. Take care - Kathe in CA __________________________________________________
