Can RA strike your back?

I could use some help in brainstorming this..

I had my back suddenly go out on Friday. We were traveling and it

was the first morning at a hotel..while going down some stairs, my

back felt a little like I had pulled something. But it was just a

little twinge. Within 30 minutes I was in so much pain, that I

cried in agony with every move. I had to sit in the car and that

was about all I could do as walking was extremely painful. I

started taking 800 mg doses of ibuprofin..took two of those that day

and 600mg doses 4x a day for 3 more days. I was very fatigued the

whole time and my whole body felt stiff..but especially my back.

My back continued to be painful, but by Sunday I was able to move a

little better and worked a little in our shop. Monday, I knew I had

overdone it and was so exhausted, I was worthless the whole day..but

I hadn't worked that hard! I had just worked on one of our

embroidery machines and given a little software training to some

employees. I have been getting steadily better, but the stiffness

has remained as has the fatigue.

This same thing happened to me a couple of years ago, so I wondered

if it can be related to RA, or if it is more likely to be something

else. I know I have been under a huge amount of stress lately with

my son getting married, and then a few days later, a week long trip

for our business. Anyway, I was just wondering if anyone else has

had this happen.
