Guest guest
I used to suffer from pretty bad foot pain after I gained my second fifty lbs. It was a sharp pain. After I lost some weight it went away. I regained THAT weight I lost, but the foot pain never returned. I think I built up the muscles or something. Those are small muscles that I think cannot adjust quickly to rapid weight gain. Other things can cause foot pain, too: gout, edema, poor circulation, incorrect footwear. ~Kim~ > >While we are talking pain.............. does anyone ever have pain in the >feet? > > _________________________________________________________________ MSN 8 helps eliminate e-mail viruses. Guest guest
I do not post too much, usually when I need help, so thank you for being there. I have been dx'd with RA for one year. I take plaquenil, mtx (inj 1 cc per week), folic acid, provigil (nausea and fatigue), diclofenac, hydrocodone, lunesta. I am in pain every day that I pretty much keep under control with my meds, makes it tolerable. Of course some days are worse than others. Consistently my shoulders, hands and wrists hurt every day. Then my hips, ankles and feet are added to the mix. I think that I began a flare last weekend. It is so hard to tell because I am in pain everyday, however this has been different. This is take your breath away pain. I started a prednisone burst, two days ago which helped on the first day because of the high dose, but the pain is coming back, very intense. I work in a hospital, I was coming out of a room today and had a sudden pain in my left outer hip that nearly knocked me over. I lost my balance a little, the pain was so intense. I went into a room into the pain subsided some, but the ache is still pretty intense. The initial pain is gone and the ache is left behind. My shoulder hurts in the same way. All of my joints are hot, puffy, but no redness. My labs are stable as of two weeks ago. I am taking a trip this weekend to a family reunion. Hubby is driving, Any advise?
