Guest guest
Kathe, I thought about that but the mucous I have is very loose...there is just a ton of it. I know when you take that you have to drink plenty of water and at this point if I drink anymore water I will have to live in the bathroom! When I use to have serious sinus problems I was on prescription strength Entex which is the same ingredient in Musinex. It works really well. I am going to think about this and if I get out tomorrow I shall pick some up. Guest guest
Toni, My husband has problems with allergies that sometimes cause a great deal of mucus. He has found that regular saline nose spray has stopped the sore throat from post nasal drip. It also helps clear out his nasal passages. During the dry season, it helps with nosebleeds associated with dry nasal passages. For years he used various sprays containing decongestants and other chemicals. To find out that just plain cheap saline solution could have so many benefits was great for him. He hasn't had a sinus infection since using it. a On Mar 19, 2006, at 10:18 PM, Ms radar wrote: > Kathe, > I thought about that but the mucous I have is very loose...there is > just a ton of it. Guest guest
a, I have been using homemade saline and nasal washes for years. I use to suffer from horrible sinus problems ans since starting with them I have had maybe one or two sinus infections. Currently I do not have a sinus infection...thank god for that. Now I wish I could saline wash my lungs and get this crap out of here...but the key is getting my immune system to turn off!! So far nothing has happened. I will give it to the end of the week and if I am not feeling better, back to the PCP I will go for another steriod injection and I will beg for some nebulized steriods. This inhaler is working but not well enough for me. I think I am being a bit impatient too. But then again most people would be when you are having problems breathing and trying to cough out a lung!
