Guest guest
Lori, You asked where to begin, and you already by posting this message to the group. Welcome! This is a wonderful support group, and our moderators a and keep us well educated by posting articles on RA and other autoimmune diseases. Here you are among people who understand. Just ask any questions that you might have, or sometimes you might just want to vent. We will listen and understand. How long have you had RA? What medications are you on? I've had it for over six years. I was lucky enough not to get it until I was 60, after my kids were raised and I was retired. I had a rough time at first, but I had a wonderful rheumatologist to help me through it. Since I've been on Enbrel, my pain and inflammation have been at a minimum. I know that I'm lucky in that respect, too. Tell us more about yourself. Guest guest
Hi Lori, and welcome to this group. You don't have to be a compuwhiz to use this site as it's just individuals responding to what others have written. Your posting was a good way to begin. All of us here are willing to share and provide guidance to anyone who asks. Feel free to post any questions or concerns you may have. I'm in Texas with no family or close friends in the area so really appreciate having this group as I'm still adjusting to many major changes in my life. --- In , lori vanderlaske <mvspringrun@...> wrote: > > In my area, Brevard county, Fl. we don't have any support groups and I am feeling very isolated when it comes to discussing R.A. with non affected people.
