Guest guest
Don't give up those lentils too easily! Patty Subject: Five foods that stop wrinkles Five foods that can stop your wrinkles You may reduce the appearance of wrinkly skin by eating certain foods, a fascinating study has found. Nutrition researchers in Australia, Greece, and Sweden studied 450 people aged 70 and over to see if the foods they ate related to how wrinkly they looked. They found that the least wrinkled people ate mainly legumes (such as peas, beans, lentils, and alfalfa), vegetables, fish, drank tea and used low-fat milk products. The most wrinkled people ate more full-fat dairy foods, butter, margarine, red meat, fizzy soft drinks, cakes, and pastries. Anti-wrinkle recipe The anti-wrinkle ingredients seem to be vitamin C, calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, zinc, and iron. It is interesting that God gave Adam and Eve a vegetarian diet, and this would have been the pattern for generations. Certainly we know that the early generations had extremely long lives. Genesis even records that Esau sold his birthright for pottage (soup or stew) made of lentils. During the time of the early patriarchs there wasn't the abundance of sugary cakes and pastries, margarine, and soft drinks that are around today, so the Genesis diet was obviously a very healthy one.
