Guest guest
Yes we are of a grand ma now and she is of a beautiful little one of 8 pounds 1 ounces. Aimee had a very difficult time and the babys head was large so it ripped her badly and she had of 25 stitches and is of ever so much with massive swelling. She is in great pains but has been of such a high maintenance person I to feel so shut down and overwhelmed. She named her Delaney . She is passing in high scores of the baby assesments and such but she has a large head for her age , her higth and weight are in average ranege but the head is above average so you can see why the baby ripped her. We to had many comments and negative words in regards to refusiong the vaccine at birth. they tried to tell my Aimee she herself had to have the MMR that day at the hosptial and i to say no that is not true in Ohio we have exemptions and Aimee is an adult and she does not want it so just because she is with a dx does not mean you have of right to make it look as if she does not have options in this in regards to herself and the baby. Aimee is of rh- the baby is of O+ so she had to have the seconfd rhogam Aimee was much upset but I to tell her for future kids she does nto ahve an option she telled everyone then she is not ever in her life time haiving another baby so cut out her body parts and make is so she cant. She is in so much pains and such she is angry and acting out in fear and frsutrations and it very agitated but she is doing an EXCELLANT job at being mom. Nursing her being ever so gentle and caressing her and holding her and keeps saying isnt she the most beautiful baby ever. Well she is but that is because i to be her grandma. But then again many in the nursery areas looking at babies not knowing the one they all were of commenting on was of my grand daughter I to be ever so much had pride becuse they sayed look how beautiful that little girl is over there and her complextion is so beautiful and her hair and smiles and such . It makes me happy to use words to say she is of my grand baby . Sondra

Guest guest
Comgratulations to you and Aimee! Delaney is a beautiful and original name! I'm glad they are both doing well. I remember saying I would never have more kids after my son too, but here I am, pregnant with #2, lol. She will probably change her mind someday too. Guest guest
Aimee i to be of worried about as I to never ever seen any to look so badly deformed below. She has huge masses of swelled tissure that are the size of an apple hanging about 4 inches or so from her body parts of both female and rectum. the nurses to even look shocked to see of it. She pushed of ahrd but her babys head was so large for her and took those first few days of labor getting from 1-3 with much contractions and causing her to be to cry for days. but once she to wake me around 7AM saturday she was in much tears and crying. I to taked her to hospital and she was of 3-4, this was around 9 AM and by 3 she was able to push so for her she to not laobr long after the initial dilation was of 3-4. the baby did have much maconium in her waters when they breaked i tounderstood just by sight what it to mean and the nurse and me both maked of strong looks to it and then we to not say words of it so not to alarm of Aimee. They head team ready for her after birth incases of respiritory distress. but the baby was of doing well. She was to be examined and roughed wiped to get lungs going well. but after all that she lay out as if laying in the sand by ocean beach soaking up the sun. She does not like of male voice tones she cries much so. she likes calm quiet tones and whisptering voices to her. She does not like to be messed with too much but once she settles into you she molds into you and loves to be skin to skin to my Aimee. She is a bippy baby likes of those pacifiers much so. Was worried because it took of her 15 hours to ahve of her first wet diaper but she did poo 2x much so. She looks like her daddy even if he to says it is of not hims baby at current. but it to has much features of me and my Aimee at birth pictures. Aimee will take weeks to recover instead of a few days, they feel it will be of much as 6 weeks/ It might be of 2-3 before she can sit or walk well. As i to shared she is to have had 25 stitches and had to be sewn up in two layers of skin levels. She was of a creamer all through labor and was not doing well. tey gave of her a walkling epadural so she could still walk while laboring but she only wanted to for 30 minutes or so. they then gave of her the full empidural. Aimee says the pain is not what hurts for her it is the pressure,. She does not like that feeling. She screamed every time the any of the delivery team moved or got an object she screamed at tehm what are you doing? what are you getting? she was feared of he changes much so. She only grabbed of me hard once and demaned me to get her medicine NOW...... It was hard on me as lacked how to mentally keep up with the needs of Aimee and the ever changing room. my support person did much coaching and gave much physical support to Aimee though out the labor. Guest guest
Poor Aimee. I hope her recovery goes smoothly. I am glad to hear she got over her fear of needles enough to allow them to give her pain killers, I know you thought it would be too scary for her. I hope the doctors and nurses were at least understnding with her. I'm sorry she had such a difficult time. She is lucky to have you to help her too. Guest guest
Sondra, Thanks SO much for sharing all this. The baby is precious--I am so glad she is healthy. It's awful that Aimee had to go through so much with the labor. I hope she heals quickly--poor thing! Enjoy your granddaughter, and please keep us posted on everyone's progress. Guest guest
Sondra, I'm sure this was quite the experience for you both! I hope her bottom heals, hopefully it's just swollen. Sitting on ice packs always helped me, but I don't know if that will agree with her sensory issues. It sounds that labor was very scary for her. I'm glad she's bonding with your little grandbaby. She really is beautiful. <sigh> I don't miss the postpartum physical pain, but oh, to have that moment of holding my newborn babies again... Guest guest
I just realized I was holding my breath while I was reading about Aimee. I'm near tears! Oh, I'm just so glad the birth is OVER for all three of you! I'm sorry she tore so badly. Prayers that she heals quickly and the hormonal swings of post-partum recovery are mild. (I remember being so HOT all the time in addition to being grouchy and angry!) Sondra, most of us have been talked to by professionals like we're idiots for refusing vaccinations. Some parents have been accused of neglect by their peds. So, I'd expect some pressure from the hosptial staff to try to convince Aimee to vaccinate the baby. It'll happen again, I'm sure, when you go in for check-ups. Maybe Carol Gray's web site would post a picture of the baby for a short time so we could " see " her one of these days? Guest guest
I had a big arguement with the hospital nurses and our ped and my dr about the vaccinations too. But they can't make you do it, and if you don't consent, they can yell all they want, but can not give them. Aimee is certainly not the only one having that arguement! Guest guest
Oh how COOL! *squeals*. She's such a pretty baby, I saw the picture. Not vaccinating for 6 months and being careful is probably a really good idea. I wonder if not responding to vaccines by building immunity is genetic? I remember you said your Aimee doesn't have antibodies. Kassiane > > > > > > Yes we are of a grand ma now and she is of a beautiful little > one of 8 > > > pounds 1 ounces.
