My take on this sort of thing is that you need to confirm things yourself if a MD's office " makes an appt " for you. (or me, I mean of course). Often MD offices are not sensitive about their customer service needs. We ARE paying customers, and OUR TIME is valuable, also, particularly if one's hubby has taken off work. We can't get so used to thinking of ourselves as victims of a disease that we forget that we are consumers, also, and that even limited dollars are dollars that go to a service provider, and if that service is not responsive, vote with your feet and your dollars. Just the power to say no when you're being made to feel unimportant is healthy for you.
