Guest guest
Hi Lori: I am sorry to hear that your daughter is having a bad flare right now. I have never really had that kind of ribcage pain, but I know that others here have, and there is also costochondritis to consider, which is inflammation of the rib cartilage itself. I am glad that you are seeing her rheumy soon, and I hope he has some help for her. I am sure you have tried ice or heat on the area, but perhaps an analgesic cream might help? How about the heat or ice patches that you can buy and put on that last several hours at a time? I sure wish there was more I could say to help - just know that I am thinking of her and you too, and praying that this flare ends soon - Kathe in CA --- Lori Maynard <lorimaynard@...> wrote: > My 12yod is experiencing a bad flare right now and > it seems to have started> in her rib cage. Guest guest
OMG, those 12-hour heat patches are worthy of sainthood! My mom and I love to take those on genealogy trips where we know we'll be at the library for a while with no access to a heating pad.
