Guest guest
s Hopkins Arthritis Ask the Expert Storing of Remicade By Alan K. Matsumoto, M.D. (31-Mar-2005) Question: I understand that vials of Remicade should be refrigerated. What if I took a vial out of refrigeration and left it say at room temperature for say 12 to 14 hours. Would it be safe to use this vial or should I get another vial that has been in refrigeration. Your answer to this would be sincerely appreciated. Thanks, Sam Answer: It should be stable at room temperature. For others, this also applies to Humira and Enbrel. http://qa.hopkins-aids.edu/forum/email_to_friend.html?id=106457 & cat_id=0 & section\ _id=101 ***************************************** From Abbott Laboratories: Do not use a pre-filled syringe that is frozen or if it has been left in direct sunlight. http://www.humira.com/hu/hustore/cgi-bin/psa_admin_Cat_416_NavRoot_401.htm ***************************************** Not an MD I'll tell you where to go!
