Guest guest
I am such a dolt! I came home yesterday with my meds including Humira and dinner from Culver's for everyone. Somehow in the rush to eat and making sure I had my fair share of onion rings, I forgot to put the Humira in the refrigerator! I evidently started to, because a while later I checked the bag to make sure that I'd put it away, but no, I had just set it down on the kitchen island and I found it there the next day half-hidden under the general clutter. I don't want to call the Dr/pharmacy, (because really, in addition to saying I'm out of luck, I'm sure they'd put it down in my file... " Client is idiot. Do not renew incredibly expensive medication " ... just like they take note of when and how many times you are late to appointments...), so does anyone here know how long Humira can remain unrefrigerated before... before what? something degrades? I found an article about another biologic? (Kineret) that said not to use if unrefrigerated for more than 24 hours. It was not exposed to light, was in a room that was probably 68-69 degrees, and the liquid is not cloudy and doesn't have anything floating in it. Thanks for any info; I'd hate to miss a month's worth of medicine. Deborah
