Guest guest
Hey all, I have been told that my painful thumbs are oa, and that I need surgery to take out a bone (apparently this is a very common treatment, once you exhaust the steroid injections and such). Has anyone had the surgery? I want to know what recovery was like, and do you think it was worth it? Is there anyone who had success with something less drastic, other than injections? I have had 4 this year, and I cannot do oral steroids. I know i have to do something soon, I use my hands for a living, and it is really hard to mess with computer parts when your opposable thumbs are opposing you! :-P Tx, Di
