Guest guest
There is a book called " What Your Doctor May Not Tell You About Children's Vaccinations " by Dr. Cave. It is a really well-researched book about all aspects of vaccination including alternative scheduling of vaccinations... > > I just wanted to say thanks for the responses to my messages....I > feel like I've been alone with this for 3 years and since > Thanksgiving time that's when I started enzymes and my son is going > to someone (psychologist) who believes in the gut brain thing > etc...otherwise it's drs who just say oh PDDNOS (very mild) and too > bad for you....I have seen improvements for him and see yeast die > off as well...starting probiotics soon and anti yeast stuff. > > My question to you all....I am having a baby boy in February and am > scared to death that he will be PDD too....my 2 year old daughter is > fine and in fact is advanced in language skills! go figure. anyways > any tips/advice on what to do with shots, etc....besides making sure > they are mercury and thermisol free? > > thanks for all your help!! Guest guest
I would suggest not giving more than one shot at a time. Our doctor also suggests boosting the immune system with additional vitamin C a couple of days before an immunization. If it was me, I wouldn't be in a rush to get those first shots at two months or whatever it is, but that is just me. Oh, and if my child had colic or some other type of digestive, I'd really proceed carefully with vaccines. I'm not anti-vaccine. I just think you can go slowly. I think you have to do what feels right to you. Thanks all!! I just wanted to say thanks for the responses to my messages....I feel like I've been alone with this for 3 years and since Thanksgiving time that's when I started enzymes and my son is going to someone (psychologist) who believes in the gut brain thing etc...otherwise it's drs who just say oh PDDNOS (very mild) and too bad for you....I have seen improvements for him and see yeast die off as well...starting probiotics soon and anti yeast stuff. My question to you all....I am having a baby boy in February and am scared to death that he will be PDD too....my 2 year old daughter is fine and in fact is advanced in language skills! go figure. anyways any tips/advice on what to do with shots, etc....besides making sure they are mercury and thermisol free? thanks for all your help!! If you want to waive them, find your state here http://home.san.rr.com/via/STATES/allstates.htm Here is the DAN recommended protocol http://tacanow.com/danprotocal.htm Here are my ideas for " safer " vax, including Dr. Cave's book reference http://www.danasview.net/myvaxopn.htm Good luck with your decision. Guest guest
Hi everyone! Just wanted to drop a note and let you all know that I am so glad that i have found you all. Its been only a couple of days since I joined and I have already learned so much!! I love the humor and practical advice I have gleaned. For me, it seems abundantly clear that it is imperative that I keep a positive outlook and not get lost in self-pity, which can be very tempting. I have made a commitment to myself to write a gratitude list each day!!! Know that you all are on it this morning!!! :-) As far as my RA goes, I was in a lot of pain and was not sleeping so I called my rheumy. He put me on prednisone and I cannot believe the difference!!!! I know there are side effects, but the hope is that this will bridge the gap until the DMARDs start doing their job... Thanks all, Annie
