Hi Sussann. I had nodules removed from my ankle. Although it provided

relief quickly, the nodules grew back.

In many cases they grow back. Have you tired steroid injections to

try to shrink them? Once I started on

Enbrel, my nodules disappeared. I also had them in my elbow and was

considering surgical removal.

I just recently had a huge nodule removed from just under the elbow (whereyou

lean on), it took maybe 10 mins, he just froze it and cut it out. Had stitches

taken out a week later and carried on as normal. Prior to taking Enbrel I had

them on both elbows and it was the same procedure, just in and out. The elbow

takes a little longer to heal because of how often we bend the elbow. In all

cases it was a plastic surgeon who operated. Any questions you have just write

and I will answer the best I can.
