Guest guest
" Good morning just need to ask does anyone else have a feeling of being tired all the time, I just cant and dont want to do anything amymore. I am just getting fatter and fatter every day. I did start Water Exercise class twice a week and when I get home all I want to do is sit. I did not even make my bed yesterday and for me that is not right. What Is Wrong With Me? and how do I fix it? I take all kinds of meds and Enbrel and I thing I am getting more tired then before. " For me, this is sometimes worse than the pain. When I am in pain I can just press on. I have dealt with pain most of my life, and *most* of the time I can press on, but the fatigue hits me like a ton of bricks!! And in addition to it putting me on the couch, or worse, in bed, it also is a HUGE hit to my self esteem! Why the heck can't I just get up off this darned couch? I will say, I started taking vitamins and that has helped tremendously. And, no, I do not mean Centrum or the other store brands that do you no good. Try a high quality vitamin, one that does fructose compounding if you can. I do marketing for Melaleuca and their vitamins are wonderful, but I have also heard GNC has some good ones too. Just know, you will spend more than $5 for good vitamins, but if they help they are worth it! If you feel no difference your vitamins are not working. Guest guest
Janet, fatigue is a large part of RA, Fibro, and some of the meds for them. For the last week, I've been pushing myself to install insullation and sheetrock in our new kitchen area after not touching it for over a year. The mistake I usually make is to push myself too far and then not be able to finish the job. Of course, I need to because it's supposed to rain today and I need to get stuff back inside, and to do that, I need to finish the job. That's a fact of life for me, and I assume you and the others have the same basic problem. I'd say a couple of days rest will do wonders for you, it does for me. My physolophy is that I will get it done on time, whatever that time may be. It works for me. So the first thing I plan to do after lunch is take a nap and think about things. Most thngs can wait. Guest guest
I have a lot of empathy for you. Fatigue is a terrible thing to live with, and is not generally understood by others. Sending healing thoughts. Sierra > > > > Hello I do have that feeling of being of being tired all the > time, I just cant and dont want to do anything amymore. Guest guest
I feel that way too Sherry! The fatigue is terrible, and I especially relate to the " getting fatter and fatter every day " part. I have been trying to lose weight, but it is SO HARD! I can't even tell anymore if the being tired all the time is a symptom of RA or b/c of the meds.. and the same with the weight gain- is it because I am too tired and in pain to move or do the meds cause the weight gain?! UGH!.. the dr. doesn't know either. Sorry.. just venting frustrations... Kristi Hello I do have that feeling of being of being tired all the time, I just cant and dont want to do anything amymore.
