Guest guest
Does anyone know if the Humira people provide the same type of service, cooler/sharps contatner? And if so, who do I call? I am currently using a coffee can as my sharps container. Thanks! <Matsumura_Clan@...> wrote: Hello and welcome to the group! This is really a question for your pharmacist or the manufacturer. Guest guest
Just got my first Humira this week, it came in a styrofoam cooler with two ice packs, and included a sharps container. The pharmacist I had my consultation with suggested taking the sharps container to either a fire station or an ER when it is full, and said to be sure then to ask for another container with my next refill. I think one of the insulated lunch bags will be just the right size for one ice pack and one dose of Humira when I travel, bigger bag and more ice if I go far enough that I need more cooling. In the car, I'll just put it in the cooler with our drinks. On 6/23/06, <jhughes_bp@...> wrote: > Does anyone know if the Humira people provide the same type of service, cooler/sharps contatner? Guest guest
I get my Humira thru ChampVA meds by mail, and it came in a styrofoam cooler with 2 ice packs, too, and when I went to my doc to make sure I knew how to give myself a shot, the docs office gave me a carry bag from Abbot and a small sharps container. My sharps container should take ?? a couple-few years to fill. My HUmira comes 2 syringes in a box - the syringes are in a little tray and have the alcohol wipes included. LOL, I get my meds free thru my insurance, but from what I hear, for the cost of them, it is good they give something free.....LOL - In , susan smith <bizzare48@...> wrote: > > > I received a refrigerated cooler pack for humeri from my doctor, when she wrote me the prescription for humeri, and she taught me how to give myself a shot. in WI > > Overell <patricia.overell@...> wrote: > Just got my first Humira this week, it came in a styrofoam cooler with > two ice packs, and included a sharps container.
