Guest guest
Bonnie: Yes, I know the lightening bolt pains in the legs all too well. I do have fibro as well as RA, and sometimes am not sure which one is flaring, or if they both are! I do take Folic Acid - you are right that is very important when you are on Mtx. I have been up to 20 mg. of Mtx in the past, I think the highest to go is 25 mg. Adding the Enbrel has helped. I am so glad that we do not have many humid days here -humidity is so hard on me, I don't know how you stand it. We are having very hot days here lately, almost up to 90, but yep, in Indio and parts there, I am sure it is in the 100s. We do get that hot too, but I prefer that to the cold. I have lost hair too, with a lot of thinning along where men usually get that receding hairline thing going - like my dad and my brother lol. My brother simply keeps his hair pretty buzzed, but I am not willing to go there! I am very blonde so my hair is not too far different from my scalp color which I think helps a bit (or at least I hope it does)! I have always had very fine hair, and the Mtx does not help! That is wonderful that you are able to write! My son does write too, and he really should look into getting published, but he has to find the time to do it, he is a very busy young guy! Writing is a great way to express what is going on inside of yourself too, esp. poems. Our Tess writes some beautiful poetry! Best of luck with your appointment - don't worry about missing posts, it happens, and you can always try and catch up later. Let us know if you get published! I am wishing you less pain so you can write more the next few days! Kathe in CA __________________________________________________
