Hello, Joan. Welcome to the group. You are in the right place to

get answers to your questions, to get the support from people who

truly understand what it is that you are going through. It is

wonderful, as well, that your daughter is trying to help you.

Finding this group will be one of the highlights for you.

I liked your comment about being held together with chemicals!! It

seems like every time I go the doctor, I come home with more

medications. That gets old REAL fast!!!

I have RA, Fibromyalgia, Sjogren's, Raynauds, and chronic kidney

problems. So, I not only understand what you are going through, I

can also empathize with you. So can everyone else that is in this

group!!

Well, I'm glad you joined us, and feel free to post and question you

may come up with. If we have the answers, someone will post it for

you!! Well, you take care and I hope to see you post, soon!!!

Gentle hugs and prayers, Marint

Marina,

Thank you for the welcome. My daughter is wonderful. She is a very proactive

person. She and her sons are the best medicine I have. I have three daughters

that are very supportive. One of them has fibromyalgis and RA. She understands

well, but is in the denial stage. I have tried the internet for answers to my

questions. If Ihave found a good article that I would like to share, how would

I go about that?

Hey ,

Thank you for the welcome. I've had RA 10 years. I think, maybe more. It

seems like a life time. I've had wonderful doctors. I've done the research,

and tried to stay proactive. But, the articles and doctors and nurses just

don't know how it really feels. It can get really lonely when you try to

protect your family from all of it. It is a disease that generally does not get

you much sympathy, anyway. The responses can be anywhere from " oh my God " to " my

granny had that " . So, at the end of the day, its nice to know that someone out

there understands. I am kind of overwhelmed at the moment. The number of

e-mails I got!! I am sure the questions are forthcoming. So get ready.

That's great that you have the family support. Too bad that they

have the illness' that they have, but it does make them a better

support for you because they can truly understand. As for the

article, you can cut and paste the web address into one of your

posts. Again, welcome to the family!! Don't hesitate to ask

questions. If someone knows, they will answer. and a are

awsome resources in here, as well. Take care.....Marina
