Guest guest
Learn about history, geography and spread the word about saving the Constitution! In the spirit of Flat Stanley, used by classrooms in many elementary schools, As a Mom... has created Mailable Molly. This is a fun way for you and your family to encourage people to read the Constitution. Get the full story and printable down load here: The Adventures of Mailable Molly & color page Directions: Print Molly on cardstock or heavy paper. Color and decorate to your liking. Cut out and mail Molly, along with a Constitution and personal letter or story, to your friends. You can find a copy of the Constitution to print here: printable Constitution Ask the recipient to take Molly to a local landmark, town hall or other place that a Constitution is needed and document the visit with a photo. Make sure Molly and her “sponsors†are in the photo too! Ask your family/friends to email the photo to you. Post your favorite Molly photos below. Request that your friends send Molly and her message on to someone else, or help them create their own. If you have a scanner you can always email your Molly or use the handy pre-colored Molly! (on last page of PDF) Complete instructions and Downloadable PDFs can be found at http://graphics.asamom.com/img/pdf/mail_molly_story.pdf This is a doctored photo of Molly at the White House. We would love to see a real one! Where can you send Molly? Who can you get her photo with? What will your friends say when she delivers a Constitution to them? What local historical sites will the children in your life introduce her too? Be sure to share all the adventures you have with Mailable Molly.
