Bob was employed for 23 years with Abbott Laboratories, where he held a variety of management positions in Abbott Diagnostics, including Research and Development, Quality Assurance and Manufacturing. Bob obtained a Doctorate in Human Genetics and Cell Biology from the University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston, and conducted post-doctoral research at Los Alamos National Laboratory. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame.
