We are spending 2 BILLION dollars a MONTH to fund the war in Iraq. The

budget cuts that come to offset this ridiculous expenditure are causing

shortfalls in every aspect of our federal government. Education, Healthcare,

Homeland security, Medicare, Social Secutity, Research are some of them.

IMHO our senators and representatives are completely out of touch with the

American people. It does very little good to write them because they are

too involved in their own personal agenda to listen. They just got a raise

to their pay that gives them $168,500 salary but will not raise the minimum

wage. They do not seem to care about those who struggle every day just to

keep body and soul together. I will shut up now but if you agree, write them

about the truth. No more lies!

I am sorry. I mispoke in my previous post. It should have read we are

spending 2 BILLION dollars a WEEK to fund the war in Iraq. That is 8 Billion

a month, 96 Billion a year.

Hi ,,,Thank you for your reply...Hey, I hear you about are leaders putting

their heads in the sand like ostrich's when it comes to dealing with

reality...And yes, this awful war has to end...One lost life was too much, now

we are at 2500, so sad, so very sad... Well, come November we the people will

have the say when we go to the polls to vote. That's when we can make a big

difference..I still am going to call my Senators and Congressmen and let them

know that Medi-care Part D must be improved upon and will let them know if they

don't do something about it I won't be voting for them come November or the next

time they are up for election..There are just too many people like us that are

struggling everyday to make ends meet and to think many of us go without our

meds just so that we can eat or pay for our utilities...Just not right when we

are suppose to be the richest nation that can afford to spend 2 billion a month

to support an endless war, but can't help the very

people of this great country that are in desperate need.

Oh, by the way friends don't be fooled about the raise our leaders just

got...They will tell you they didn't vote for it.....They didn't, they voted not

have a vote for it. Instead, they just let the committee in charge of

determining what amount of raise they should get handle it, and they just

accepted the raise. After all, what choice had they, they just had to accept

what the committee recommended didn't they..LOL

And they think they can still fool all of the people all of the time....Come

November they will find out they can't...Please everyone stay on top of what

your fearless leaders are doing in congress...Come November vote and let them

know how you feel. Voting is the only way we can make a difference...Hugs,

Hi , Thank you for the correction. Wow! even more devasting.. I just

posted a reply and used the previous numbers...Please correct my posting to

reflect the number....Thank you so much for letting me vent about this..It just

makes me so angry to know how so many of us hurt..Not only the pain we endure

everyday, but financially as well...I know for sure none of us planned to get

this horrible disease..and therefore we were left off guard with little or no

income to deal with all of our needs..and for years we paid into the system and

now when so many need help it's just not there...Makes me so mad I could squish

a grape, if I only could.... LOL. Hugs,

I tried to put through my prescription of folic acid early. I got some but

I won['to be to get the rest. Well of course I have pay. To top it off

they sent me the injectable method with no needles. I called them ask

about the needles and they told me Medicare doesn't cover the needles. I

ask them if I was suppose to drink the metho. I also ask her if she

understood I can't possible do the metho without the needles. I will have

to go someplace else to get what I need. Medicare just makes me mad and so

does the mail order.
