It has a lovely slightly exotic, spicy scent, from essential oils, and is amazing for tangles. Etel and both have slightly curly hair prone to damage and dryness. We also now are doing oil treatments, but this GPB saved their long hair. Before I discovered it, I was about to need to cut it much shorter, It just looked ratty all the time and got tangled again like ten minutes after brushing! Nowadays, here's our full routine, if you want to know it keep reading...If it needs washing, I wash their hair with the GPB shampoo (not drying) love the Lavender & Ylang Ylang best for the shampoo. Then rinse, then I put the GPB conditioner (Lavender and Ylang Ylang scent

unfortunately is not quite as effective as the Original GPB kind) Now, I use a baby comb and comb out, starting at the bottom and working slowly up. You can also divide the hair into sections if it's really matted. The conditioner is really super slippery and helps all the tangled hairs come free. Then, once a week, we also do an oil treatment and let it and the conditioner both soak in together for 30 minutes. Then shampoo lightly with the GPB shampoo one time, and rinse and we're done. It's sometimes a bit oily at first but a few hours later it is glossy and pretty, and stays nice and smooth and doesn't tangle as easily. I also put just a bit of coconut oil on my hands, every day, and work onto the hair, and brush through with a boar bristle brush. This routine has really helped and their hair is just gorgeous, what a difference it's made, in a few weeks!
