Guest guest
Welcome . Sorry for the reasons you're here, but glad you found us. I'm also on enbrel & mtx and am doing ok, but still wishing for better. I've had RA for 25 years. I also have fibromyalgia, which is just as bad as the RA. I'm hoping this is the last trip to the hospital for you. a On Mar 25, 2006, at 10:37 PM, bty39184379 wrote: > Its nice to be here! Guest guest
Hiya a,Thanks for my welcome message.Yes RA is a life changing experience thats for sure.I had about 3 years of mayhem when i first was diagnosed with RA.How my family and friends didn't disown me i don't know.I felt robbed, even a kind of self abuse feeling towards RA,has anyone else felt like this?.One day my sister came to visit, and i was my usual miserable self, she said " So this is it then, just waiting to die!,so we have lost you in this pain torn world of yours, goodbye! if you ever feel like company give me a ring " Well i almost died on the spot with shock lol!So i took stock instantly and slowly became the person i am today.I am coping with RA a day at a time,i still find it hard to look too far in the future.I know i need other RA people to talk too,as you are the only people who understand my struggle with day to day life, its great to be here! > > > Its nice to be here! Guest guest
Hi RA buddies! I was diagnosed with RA in April 2005 and for almost a year I have been very angry about this disease. Now I'm accepting it for what it is and working on controlling it instead of letting it control me...it's hard and somedays I want to just stay under the covers all day. I just had a praticularly nasty reaction to Remicade Friday and I've been under the weather all weekend...hopefully I'll be back up and running for another work week in the morning.
