Guest guest
I went for a while (2 years) w/o insurance...with out the help of a non-profit hospital in town, I would not been able to see a rheumatologist. You may want to try Tylenol. My rheumi took me off Celebrex about 6 months ago and put me on 3000 miligrams of Tylenol a day...and I can not tell a difference!!!! You could try that...I am 25 years old and have had RA since I was 16. I hope this info helps. --------------------------------- Sports Fantasy Football ’06 - Go with the leader. Guest guest
You could try some dietary changes, if you haven't already. Google " anti-inflammatory diet " and see what comes up. Eliminating dairy and wheat would be a start, as well as all processed and fast foods. Drink lots of water. Eat salmon, walnuts, etc. to ensure good omego-3 oil intake. Make sure to RELAX each day. With three little kids, I'm thinking a peaceful desk job might be a better fit for you than a pre-school...? Sierra > > Hi All, > > It has become necessary for me to return to work. Guest guest
Give that man a tall glass of hemlock....hey, it's natural!!!........I just don't get it. How can a man live in a house with a woman with RA and not notice enough of a change, and the way we have to learn to do things differently so that we can still manage do them, and the pain, and depression!...how can he live with all that and then think that all that's wrong with you is that you don't get out of the house enough???. Where is Dr Phil when you really need him! I'd be tempted to write DR. Phil...he likes to do couples stuff...and al the couseling would be free..and he's always giving away goodies too!Downside is hubby would hae to be on tv...but even contemplating that might open his eyes! Or your local therapist...you really need to talk to a professional so that your husband will open his eyes and see what it right in from of him. Would he go for a joint office visit with your PCP??? My kids are very non-supportive and my Dr asked me if I wanted him to call my son and have a man to man talk with him. Think about it...maybe you need a third party to point it out to him...because he could sure be doing even small things that you would be so greatful for!Just a thought! Guest guest
I do take ultracet for pain sometimes, but Tylenol arthritis helps me too. Can you afford to see your regular doc? Maybe prednsone for a short time would help you deal with going back to work, and it is not an expensive drug. slmcc93@... wrote: Hi All, It has become necessary for me to return to work. Guest guest
Hi I think your husband is right that you will feel better once you get out of the house. Sometimes I am in a lot of pain and I am soo tired, but somehow I manage to get dressed and go to work and then I am still tired and in pain, but it is not as bad and as disturbing as when you are at home, where you really feel every single cell of your body hurting! Good luck with your job and I pray for your getting better amira from Egypt susan smith <bizzare48@...> wrote: I do take ultracet for pain sometimes, but Tylenol arthritis helps me too.
