Guest guest
Hi Jan: Lyrica is kind of the new Neurontin (not sure on spelling) and they act on nerve pain, such as that caused by diabetic peripheral neuropathies. They have been found to be effective in treating similiar pain suffered by people with fibromyalgia. It has helped with my nerve pain, especially night time pain, but I still have to wake up when some pain begins in the leg I am laying on, and adjust my body position from one hip to another, accompanied by my body pillow, to keep the pain in my legs from starting up. But it has helped, and when I was without it for two weeks, I really noticed an increase in my leg pain. It works well for me, but may not for you, but definately ask your doctor about it. Take care - Kathe in CA --- jan <smokey61080@...> wrote: > > > > > > > > > > __________________________________________________
