Guest guest
Hi guys-I am working with a family whose school is arguing against academic classes from 8th grade and beyond. Parents feel like the student needs to continue in academic classes, while adding transition topics into his electives. While we know inclusion works, we would like to know if there is specific research that would support outcomes for students with Down Syndrome continuing in academics in preparation for life after school, including college. Any transition-preparatory information supporting continued inclusion would be greatly appreciated. If you want to send directly, my email is lifelineministry@.... Thanks!
