I was not necessarily suggesting that she take Effexor XR by any means, but was just mentioning what I took and what had helped me. Everyone's system is different and what works for one will not necessary work for another. Just wanted to let people know that it is something discuss with your doctor (depression), and between the two of you, and research, you will hopefully find something to help. A lot of people bury depression and are afraid to ask for help when they need it, and I just wanted to say it is not a weakness to be depressed to the point that you need medication, it has helped me.
