Sad to say, Lynn is probably better off where she is than with her mother. I understand being overwhelmed, but leaving her was not the right way to handle it..how could you do that to your child? Lynn could have been assaulted or even killed.

Maybe she was reluctant to talk to strangers. Said her vocab. was something like 30 or so words.

Sad the mother didn't look for a place for her....even dept of human services, rather than just dumping her. SO sad.
