Guest guest
Thanks Toni, My grandmother is the matriarch we all go to, still healthy, still in her " right mind " as she would say, so you have to help her without letting her know she is being helped. However, she is very active in the church and even gives to the food bank there at the church a lot of the commodities she receives from the community program you mentioned. I will have to check into the angel food thing for her or maybe for the church she belongs to, but she eats like a bird so would probably just take that food up to the food bank at the church. I think before things got out of hand, I would find a way to make sure she gets what she needs, RA or not. I think most of her church members feel the same way. That's one good thing about being a long time member at a church, they act as a support system for you. Helpful information. Thanks. Guest guest
Ebony, Angel food is NOT charity....its feeding the soul through food. Many of the local churches take there members orders first before the general public...casue the church members volunteer their time to fill the boxes. I know how you feel though. My grandmother was the same way. Toni
