Guest guest
Wow, that is incredible......what do they attribute the steep rise in the dual diagnosis, anyone? So, Sherry, are you coming to this conference? I hope to, but I don't have much of an excuse, it is within easy driving distance from WI. Guest guest
I saw her speak in 2009...really good for Down syndrome even if your child does not have a dual diagnosis (they still have health concerns that make them more prone to it, such as mitochondria issues). If you can't go to conference, Autism 1 usually has DVDs available for purchase within a month after the conferences. By the way, the CDC announced that autism rates in the general population are at 1 in 88 now which amonuts to 1 in 54 boys, so it's past the 1% mark and in some states it's even higher.
