Cal State Northridge University Research StudySeeking for Boys and Girls with Down syndrome Age 11 to 17 Years Old Dear kathy, CSUN is learning about the Nintendo Wii and Xbox Kinect Games and its effects on adolescents with Down syndrome ages 11 to 17; specifically bowling, boxing, hula hoop, basic run, dance games, resistance exercise, and balance exercise.   We hope that you consider taking part of this study to help future generations and because it sounds like fun.    

California State University, NorthridgeNintendo Wii and Xbox Kinect ExergamesResearch Study for Adolescents    Games will be played wearing measurement devices measuring heart rate and energy expended.  Athlete will answer a few questions about their enjoyment of the video games.

It will take two visits or more at CSUN.  Participant must be accompanied by parent or guardian.  Participation is voluntary, $20 will be given to cover parking cost at the University.    Flyer A

and Xbox Wii sports, fitness, and dance Exergames. The 7-Day physical activity level will also be measured. This is an excellent opportunity for adolescents to find out about adolescents' physical activity levels and explore an innovative way to remain physically
