Guest guest
Shandi I thought I was just the weird one. I am not allowed to take any Nsaids at all now. Two different ones have caused me to go into kidney failure. in WI MNPMAIL <mnpmail@...> wrote: This is absolutely true. I have had by far reactions to NSAIDS than Humira type medications. Mobic gave me AWFUL, emergency room worthy headaches. I had a cat scan and MRI due to those headaches but when I ran out of it for a few days my headaches went away. Its replacement was Arthotec which caused some sort of uterine bleeding. I would bleed between cycles and Christmas Eve I was cramping so bad it brought tears to my eyes. Turned out I was losing blood and had to go to the ER. I was in shock. No one had thought the spotting was a big deal. You just get use to thinking of script NSAIDS as strong Tylenol, that it is like popping candy. Tylenol and aspirin can cause death if you are allergic. Food allergies, just touching some can cause deadly reactions. The point is you don't know until you try. Every day is an adventure and you can't go overboard with worry. When you know the risks you do have to be cautious and watch for the signs. It shouldn't consume you though. Shandi Re: [ ] Re: Cancer & Humira Tracie I took Humeri for over a year with no problems. I think we all have reactions to different things sometimes it is drugs. I had kidney failure from a simple anti-inflammatory drug called mobic! So who knows, I guess we all have to decide for ourselves if it is worth the risk. in WI We Made Changes Your email is all new.
